These are great for a small house or apartment for those that don't want to pay monthly for an alarm system but still want some kind of system. The cameras offer good quality pictures. Not HD quality but good enough to see and make out faces. The setup was incredibly easy. Just download the app, plug in the cameras in designated spaces and hit add. Add the cameras one at a time via bluetooth. Once the app detects the cameras they hop onto wifi. I can check on the house while i'm at the gym or elsewhere away from the house. The cameras use TYPE C connections with a usb to outlet plug. Each usb cord is about 6 ft or so. This is a huge plus for me as I can add a few throw away power banks that I do not use to keep as a battery backup. Then plug the power bank to the outlet. This ensures they still record if there is ever a power outage. My wifi has a USP power back up incase of a power outage as well. They record locally and upload movement to the cloud. The cloud does require subscription after 15 days. The cameras record locally via SD cards ( not provided) but available cheaply on amazon. The cameras can detect movement from quite far away. If you use the area a lot you may be bombarded with notifications every 20 seconds. However, one can disable notifications via the app. Picture quality is good. Sound quality is very basic and staticy. The wifi strength is good. They can pull wifi, even if your router is 150 feet away on another level of your house. The cameras are small enough to hide almost anywhere. The status led light can be disabled on the app to keep them in stealth mode. 4 pack is a really good value at the list price. Cons: They are a bit flimsy and light weight. The cord length is not that big, but great enough if you have an outlet within 6 ft of where you want to put the camera. The other issue with the app is if you want to share the 4 cameras with a family member, one has to do it individually. They have to sign-up for the app, make an account and share their username with the primary camera account holder. The primary camera account holder then has to search up their username to share with them. There is no share all cameras. One cannot simply send them a link. There is no "alarm on" function when you leave the house. I wish they would only notify and record when I set the app to away.There is no ability to disable notifications or recording when you are home. My biggest complaint is how much the app pushes the cloud subscription to get all of the features. You can use a microSD card for local recording, which is a good alternative if you don't want another monthly subscription. What I really wish it had was a way to connect directly to a local smart home system like Home Assistant. I have not been able to find any way to do that, so it seems like your options are basically their cloud service or recording to a memory card. For someone who prefers keeping smart home devices local, that's a pretty big limitation. It's easy to set up, the movement tracking is nice, and it should work well as a basic pet camera.
