Hope they are durable in use. Jam*** These are a nice set of impact deep sockets. They did come coated in some kind of oil. I’m sure it’s to prevent rust while stored in a warehouse. The packaging was simple by a plastic shrink wrap. The weight of the entire thing is about average. I like the case and I hope it last. My last set, which who knows where they sent, were stored in a heavy duty zip pouch. So this is a much nicer storage option. The material seems durable and I hope they last. The fit are 1/2 which I use with my Ridgid impact for auto use. If these do well in my daily use, I will see if they offer a 3/8 set. B08YRLZCPJ US

They're heavy, substantial, and feel like they could withstand a tremendous amount of abuse in the workshop. From a construction standpoint, they're impressive. Unfortunately, that heavy-duty construction comes with a significant drawback. These extensions are so stiff that they barely flex, which somewhat defeats the purpose of having a flexible socket extension in the first place. Their limited flexibility makes them much less useful for reaching fasteners in awkward or confined spaces. Another frustration is the fit of the 1/4-inch adapter. Sockets fit far too loosely and can easily fall off, which is particularly annoying when you're trying to work in a tight space. Overall, I appreciate the rugged construction, but the excessive stiffness and poor socket retention really limit their usefulness. They're certainly sturdy, but they need some design improvements to be genuinely practical. B0GYN7N1LC US
