Slip around, super thin and the creases in them and wrinkles on the center where they were bent to put into the package made them stand like a teepee. I threw them in the cool air fluff in the dryer hoping it would help and it did not. It was a good thought but didnt work. It is soft underfoot without being overly thick or bulky. Not super thin so if you have a door it may not be thin enough if going over a carpet. The stitching around the edges looks good. I also really like the vintage style pattern and the amount of detail throughout the design. My biggest hesitation is the color. It is noticeably darker in person than I anticipated from the listing photos, and I am still not completely sure how I feel about it in my space. Don’t expect to have it vacuum it well without standing on sections to keep it down. Like most washable rugs that arrive folded, it also has quite a few creases from the packaging and will need some time to settle and flatten out. Bath mat I don't think this is quick drying enough for me to use as a bath mat. Litter box mat It does work well to trap litter after my cat leaves the litter box. However, the microfiber fluff (and even more so, the grooves between the microfiber tentacles) really holds on to the litter and makes it a bit difficult to fully shake out. If you use it for this purpose and you use clumping litter, I would suggest not washing it because of how clumping litter expands and becomes cement-y when wet. A few pieces of litter might not cause a problem, but after heavy use, the result for your washer and plumbing would be like trying to flush clumping litter in the toilet. Front door inside mat This is probably the best use I've found so far, however it isn't foolproof because the thickness isn't compatible with opening and closing the front door over it. So it will have to sit out of reach of the front door, which kind of defeats the purpose. If you have a sliding door to place this in front of, that would probably work best. My cat loves laying on it. Not that she needs another bed. So let's talk about the mat itself ... The microfiber pile is impressively soft and pretty thick. The microfiber is absorbent. But the mat between the microfiber tentacles is not soft, thick, or absorbent. It's kind of an all or nothing proposition. The product description says to wash according to the included care instructions, which if I'm reading the symbols correctly, is no tumble dry. This is a little unrealistic. In a lot of ways, this is a bath mat. And every single one I've owned has allowed for tumble dry. The size of the large mat is generous. The back works well to grip smooth flooring so the mat doesn't slide. The backing adds a bit of padding to the mat. Vacuuming this mat will not be straightforward unless you have a weak vacuum that will not lift the mat with suction. Overall, this absorbent microfiber mat could work for a number of uses, but not as a master of any of them for me. By that, I mean it would work decently, but I already have a bath mat (quicker drying), a litter mat (easier to shake litter free), and an indoor front door mat (lower pile that my front door will open and close over) that work better for their specific purposes. I think this would work best as a door mat in front of a sliding glass door.
