I bought this more as an accessible pouch for hiking or a lightweight necessities pouch while base camping. I was in a time crunch when I initially bought it and didn't do much comparing at the time, but this might be the only time being a procrastinator paid off. When I initially received the belt I feared I accidentally bought something well outside my $20 price range by mistake. It looks and feels like a significantly higher end product than one within the price range that they're charging. The material is super soft to the tough but even when stretched to the max feels super durable. That being said, I was initially a bit concerned as the pouch seemed smaller than what I was hoping for but (insert Doctor Who joke here) it's much bigger on the inside, and absolutely holds a full bottle of water (plus galaxy S10E phone, keys, and chapstick). When filled to the brim it's still pretty easy to close since the fabric has a bit of stretch to it. However, because of the folds, it still holds things in place when there's only a few items in it. As a bigger guy (6'4, 230) I certainly appreciated the stretchy band, both for fit and also because it seems to make it feel much more comfortable against my waist. I don't think I've ever seen a clasp like this one but it definitely looks and feels like it's engineered to forego the issues I've had in the past with the standard plastic clips on products like this. I bought this in a pinch expecting to use it a handful of times but because of the significantly higher quality than expected for the laughably low price I've been using it pretty much any chance I get. 12 out of 10, would absolutely buy this product again. The velcro is very strong and adjusts to different waist sizes. I do have to add that the size of the velcro fits a woman, but my husband (a 36 in waist) did not have enough strap to close it properly, so take this into consideration. The velcro closure is secure without adding bulky weight, and the waistband is lightweight and comfortable even during long walks or workouts. It stays in place with very little bouncing.
