Also, have laptop stands and arms that hold the laptops open, which with the mac ecosystem allows me to control both macbooks seamlessly with the same external keyboard/mouse via Universal Control; so really, I am just switching between which Macbook is on the main display. Just keep in mind that if you like to store the stand low when not in use you will need to remove the fan but it’s magnetic so easy. It will take up one of you charge ports on the dock if you want a clean look. I’m using the stand with my Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 which is comparable in size and weight to a MacBook Pro 16. It works extremely well and I have no doubt it wouldn’t have any problems with a heavier laptop like one of the other bigger gaming laptops. The adjustments are basically infinite with the fan not mounted and you only loose range on the low end when it is. Movement is smooth on solid and the base swivels. The docking portion works as advertised though it’s not something I’ve needed. HDMI is listed as 1080p 60hz but it may support higher since my Samsung monitor will get to 120fps when docked to this. You will be able to charge most laptops through USB on the dock if they support USB-C charging and you aren’t trying to overtax the GPU. I’m usually in high performance mode on my laptop for gaming so use the big brick through the dedicated charging port but in normal mode, USB C charging works fine. Just make sure you have a good GaN brick rated for your laptops requirements attached. For the price, this is a solid setup. I always try to give a few weeks on these devices when I get them so I can give good review with a bit of reliability testing and so far so good. You could spend much more and get far less. It has speakers that are fine in a pinch. Sounds about as good as what comes out of my phone, but I'm not planning on using the speakers in here anyway.
